Where are you researching Huizar? I know that a lot of them are in the Huejuquilla El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico area.

I am not presently focusing on deep research of my wife's ancestry; but,the parents of her grandfather --- Jocé Amado Acosta (1874-?)--- were Teodoro Acosta and Maria Jesus HUIZAR (1884-after 1930).

Since this is a relatively rare surname, I hope this is helpful to you.
