General Jesus Arechiga

Does anyone have a relationship or link to a general name Jesus Arechiga in
Zacatecas around late 1800' and died in early 1900.

I have recently been able to track my relation to General Jesus Arechiga, he was my Great Great Grand Uncl. Please see my updated PDF Genealogy report for details.

Hi, I'm related to the Arechigas thru my maternal Aunt Soledad Soto de Arechiga. She married Jose Arechiga, a grandson of General Arechiga. She inherited and lives in the Hacienda de Buenavista after my Uncle Jose died. He in turn was heir to the Hacienda and land with his brothers and sisters. is family lives in the city of Zacatecas. My family is from Buenavista and its one of the places I'm doing research on.

Alexandra, I am distantly related to General Jesus Arechiga thru my maternal grandmother Amada Arechiga Valenzuela. I am not exactly sure of the relationship but my grandmother referred to him as her uncle. I spoke to Fernando Arechiga Flores who owns a ferreteria in Jalpa and he is also working on his geneology tree. I believe Fernando is a direct descendant of General Jesus Arechiga. Fernando referred to my grandmother as his aunt. I am interesting in knowing who you are and what have been your findings.

Currently I have my geneology research on halt because I am studying for the CPA exam and other certs which will take me awhile to accomplish.

There are also two gentlemen doing research on Jalpa who belong this group. They are Lupe Jaime and Ruben Hernandez.
