Nueva Galicia Genealogical Society Conference in Sacto

The conference is in September, and I plan on going (assuming someone checks their email soon!). I was wondering if anyone else from here will be there. Since it starts so early, I'm thinking of going over on Friday night and staying at a hotel (Sacto is a two hour drive for me).

I usually bring my laptop with my genealogy, so I can compare notes with others. I also bring a small amount of supplies-- notebooks, post-its, etc. Since I live in So Cal, I brought some genealogy books with me, but I won't this time, as I'll have to fly there.

You may want to create some business cards with your contact information to connect with others.

I will be there, where do you live? It's a 2 hour drive for me as well but I will be going up the night before the conference. There will be a meet and greet dinner for anyone who wants to meetup the night before. The place and time still to be determined.

I'm in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County. You're in San Jose, right? Please keep me updated on a place to stay, if a bunch of people are going up on Friday. I'm looking forward to this! I sent an email to the address on the flyer, but I haven't heard back yet. ?
