Marge:

My Ramos are neither from Chihuahua nor really Ramos.  The name goes 
back only to the late 1700s in Totatiche, Jalisco, where a priest who 
apparently refused to recognize the name of the family who had taken in 
an "expuesto" (abandoned child) by the name of Ramon, assigned the last 
name of Ramos instead to his children.

It seems that children born after the priest changed in the parish got 
the name Aranzazu.

I agree with Victor's opinion about the podcast series.  I especially 
enjoyed the interview with Rosalinda.  In case anyone is wondering, I 
am her 26 time (probably more) cousin that she discusses in the 
interview.  It has been a pretty amazing discovery to find long lost 
cousins doing genealogy research.

I suggest this question: is there any project in the school fields 
to promote or to motive children an young teens and adults to look 
for names and history of ancestor? If not, would it not be 
interesting and fruitfull for every body in the future? cause I ask 
my self from where I acquired this obsesion illness?
