What mtDNA haplogroup did they assign you? Who provided the specimen?

Your brother has your father's Y-DNA and he has your mtDNA and your mother's mtDNA, 
assuming you have the same parents. The latter assumption sometimes is a huge 
assumption and leads to very interesting discussions.
