Chronology for Eva Galvan Tristan:
The Tristan family of thirteen were born in the
Hacienda de Solis. Evarista Galvan Tristan the first
child was born October 26, 1886, and on February 05,
1905, married Jose Angel Ybarra Munoz, in la Yglesia
de la Hacienda Solis. Evarista and Jose Angel left the
Hacienda de Solis approximately a year after their son
Elpidio T. Munoz was born {March 04,1906], and prior
to Juana T. Munoz birth March 15,1908, in La Cinta,
Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Jose Angel Munoz, and Evaristan
Tristan remained in Nuevo Leon until 1920.
After his youngest daughter, Primitiva, death June 04,
1907, Francisco Tristan left the Hacienda de Solis.
Date of departure are uncertain. The death of
Primitiva and the Mexican Revolucion erupting were
certainly some of the motives that motivated Francisco
Tristan and his family away from the Hacienda de
Solis. One fact is certain. Francisco left San Luis
Potosi after June 1907 and went to Mineral del
Refugio, Lampazos, Nuevo Leon.
They lived in Mineral Del Refugio, 6 years from
1907-1913, a mineral mining town. Francisco possibly
labored in the mines. His son-in-law, JOSE ANGEL
MUNOZ, would later follow in the same manner.
Francisco's decision to leave Mineral Del Refugio, in
Nuevo Leon, came in 1913 during the worse period of
the Revolucion.
FRANCISCO TRISTAN DIARY: written in "Spanish" by
Francisco Tristan{December 13, 1861} and his son
Lorenzo Tristan{September 06, 1896}.
"Mayo 9 de 1913 sali del Mineral del Refugio por
tierra y llegue a Loredo el dia 14; y me en barque
para Palestina el 16 a las 6 1/2 de la tarde; el 17
llegue a las 6 de la tarde; el 18 me en barque para
Loveladi a las 6 de la manana y llegamos a las 10 de
la manana. Alli travajamos en una sesion permanente.
El 28 de Julio nos embarcamos para Conrroee, alli
estubimos travajando: el dia 12 embarcamos para
Houston Texas; a 13 de Nobiembre murio Andres
Lumbreras lo irio Juan Lopez en las norias Juridicion
de Sabinas E de N Leon {Estado de Nuevo Leon}. El dia
10 de Abril de 1914 salimos de Houston Texas para
Patterson, Texas. "1914 a 24 de Mayo dia memoriable.""
May 09, 1913 left Mineral del Refugio {Mx} by land and
arrived at Loredo on the 14th. Embarked for
"Palestine" on the 16th - 1830 hrs; Arrived 1800 hrs
on the 17th; at 0600 the 18th embarked for Lovelady
...arrived 1000 hrs.
My father, as your father, was a foreman in Mountain
View from 1950 thru Feb, 26,1968, @ Ira M. Higgins
{died 1965 in a tomato field}, and his wife Elaine
{1986 ?} Ranch. The ranch neighbor was San Francis
High School. The school's Baseball and Footbal field
were named in Mr. Higgins honor. My father helped
erect the school baseball backstop in 1958. Beautiful
landscape, orchards, and plenty of space. Its all gone
now. Cueasta Park was once a orchard of prunes and
apricots. I lived in Los Altos/Mt. View on Alegre
street. If you are in that area, Covington and
Miramontes, 1061 Alegre Street dead ends at Permanete
Creek ...but!,,,the house no longer exist.

apologize for last leg of tree's. My MUNOZ 5th, and
6th great were from Hacienda de Banon, Burgo de San
Cosme, Villa de Cos, Zacatecas, Mexico. I'm stranded
there with Ysidro Munoz and Toribia Dorothea de
Torres.
