even consider that the problem might lie within themselves or that
another way of thinking might be better or more correct that the way

you were embarrassed then but should be proud now that you met your
conflict head on and made the right choice. [Sounds to me like it was

Mexican to me
was always kind of a derogative term. Early on when we were just dating
I even
wished he was from another part of the world that sounded more exotic.
I was a
missionary and learned Spanish and I was comfortable helping families
but that
was were my comfort zone ended. Time teaches you many things. I
wondered
whether the differences I thought we had were too wide for us to be
able to
gap. Remembering my thoughts makes me understand the prejudices that we
sometimes come across. I find myself wanting to find out more about my
husbands
ancestors to be able to teach my children how proud they should be of
both of
their heritages. I don’t ever want them to be ashamed because there is
nothing to be ashamed about. I want them to feel as you do and to know
of their
people and why they can proud. We speak both Spanish and English in the
home
because I want them to be able to speak to all of their family members
and
relatives both here an in Mexico. I have been able to completely
overcome the
thoughts I had because I have learned from my husband. He has taught me
that
what I once thought made one better than another doesn’t exist and that
we are all trying to succeed in this life.

And we are succeeding. Just showing up is success. and most of us are
showing up everyday and have been for quite awhile. I feel proud that
I've been and continue showing up everyday.

want my children to think
one heritage is better than another. I hope that I will be able to tell
them
who their ancestors were on both sides. Interestingly enough one of the
things
I enjoy the most is our differences.

Sounds to me like you are the just the right Mom for your children. My
regards to them and the Just right for them Dad, your husband.

from your Family History Center?



you'll just have to guess when they were born. forexample if Crescencio
was the first born figure that the parents were about 17-22 years old
or maybe move it a little 15-25, but if he was the 10th born figure
they cold be 27-32 if she had a child once a year or maybe 30-35 if you
give her a couple of years when she didn't have children. So then order
a film back from 1938 to about 1920 or 1919:
