As you know, this takes quite a lot of detective work.  Sometimes we have the obvious right in front of us and we don't see it, and sometimes everything seems to fall into place naturally.

Querying the FamilySearch databases is kind of tricky because of all the spelling errors or variants, punctuation marks and name abbreviations in the data fields.  One has to exhaust all the possibilities, including available filters, before giving up on a search.

I believe there's still more in it in this particular branch.  Do you have a file in the files section with the information you posted above?  Maybe I can find the relation between our Castañedas.

the name Rosalía Castañeda.  I have one in my family tree.  Her
name is Juana Rosalía Castañeda, born 26 Apr 1740 in Teul de

Their parents seemed to have moved around the state of Zacatecaz a 
lot because the last three children were born in different ranchos.  
The last child, Josseph Antonio was born in Tlaltenango.  My
Rosalía may not be the same as yours, but they might be related.

I reviewed the Raygoza records you posted.  All seems to indicate 
that they are indeed siblings, as the parents names, the location and 
the dates coincide.  I'm adding them for now to my tree and
I'll make 
a note to verify on microfilm.

I went two generations further on the Raygoza line, as I have now 
Francisco Roman De Raygoza, father of Josseph Dionicio and Joseph de 
Raygoza father of Francisco Roman .  Please review the updated 
GabinaMartel file on my folder, from the sixth generation and up.

Regarding Rozalia Castaneda, wife of Josseph Dionicio, I have one 
candidate from the same batch number of baptismal records, which is 
the following:

MARIA ROZALIA DEL REFUGIO CASTANEDA SANDOBAL  
Christening:  04 OCT 1753   Tlaltenango De Sanchez Roman, Zacatecas, 
Father:  YSSIDRO ANTONIO DE CASTANEDA BARGAS  
Mother:  YSSABEL DE SANDOBAL

C600896     1745 - 1758  

I would have to check the marriage record of Josseph Dionicio Raygoza 
and Rozalia Castaneda, dated 05 MAR 1764,  (Batch No. M607141, Film 
No. 0443969) to find other indications that this could be the same 
person.

Would appreciate very much to know if you have something on María 
Rozalia.

I do have a Maria Alvina Raygoza as my 4th great grandmother.  My records indicate that she was the daughter of Josseph Raygoza and Rozalia Castaneda. But now I just have two of her siblings: Maria Antonia and José Pablo.

After reviewing each record in the information you sent me I'll let you know my conclusions.
