Hello:
Dr Inglis came to Texas on several grants to put the Nagcodoches [?] Archives in some sort of order. I met him in Austin and invited him to speak at a small meeting that the genealogical club had in Houston. He was then asked to speak at several other conference/meeting, etc. He was a professor who married a Cuenca native and lived in Seville. It was through Doug that I was able to enter the Archives in Seville and handle some of the Guadalajara Archives - his wife had worked there at one time and he knew some of the people. I went in blind....he helped me go through the paper work in order to do research there....pictures/ letters of recommendation; or at least that was what we did at the time....
Dr. Inglis said he could not make a living doing historical research so he had a business in computers at the time. He was living in Seville. I have not spoken to him in years. We had him as a guest at our home;;;;this was in the 1980's when our kids were in college. It has been a long time.
