Jalisco Batch Numbers Question

Welester was kind enough to send me a disk with batch numbers for Mexico
via Esther Herold (thanks everyone). Note that the batch number that
have ** next to them are probably not going to work. Does anyone know
why these don't work and what happened to those batch numbers. Seems
that if they were existent at one time they still might be available
some place. Possibly on an older pre 1988 version of the IGI. Is that
only to be found on Fiche somewhere or is it no existent? The fiche
found in todays FHC what is the date of the IGI? I've been told but I
can't remember right now.

Lester,

Are the documents for the Nuevo Leon protocolos complete documents??? It doesn't look like the documents from Saltillo are complete documents but extracts. Is a correct assumption? It also looks like the testamentos from Saltillo were not included.

Thanks again.

I have a question. I am searching for my great great grand parent from
which I think they were born in Matansas Jalisco which they would be
registered in Ojuelos De Jalsico. I think my great great grandparents
were born around 1888 their names are as follow.

Jose Refugio Cortez -married to Alejandra Hernandez--------- Son was
Antonio Cortez Hernandez born in 1909 who is my grandfather

Lorenzo Alvarado---married to Francisca Ortiz ----------- Daughter was
Ma Manuela Alvarado Ortiz which was my grandmother

Need Help.
