La Fabrica

Hi - I found some baptismal records of my great-great grandfather, and they
said he was from "La Fabrica" close to Guadalupe, Zacatecas, I think. Has
anyone heard of this? Is it a colonia or a rancho in Zacatecas?

I think someone on this forum has mentioned this Fabrica before. I think it used to be a place where they made cloth -- a textile plant.

It looks like "La Fabrica" is part of the Municipality of Mazapil,
Zacatecas. It has 362 inhabitants.
