PARES Instructions: Thanks Armando!

Armando has created a simple .doc file on how to use PARES. I'll be creating
a link to the file tomorrow.

I did have one question. Don't you have to create a username and password?
Or will it work anonymously?

Thanks Armando I'm sure many in the group will appreciate your effort on
their behalf.

HI Joseph,

Do you know where I can have access to padrones of Tlaltenango, zacatecas before 1930? Also Land ownership information?

Let me know. I really would appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Go to the files area of the group and under "Books and Articles" look for
"Census Records for Latin America by Lyman Platt"
(http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/15262) click on the one for
Aguascalientes and Zacatecas and tilt your head 90 degrees and look for
several Tlaltenango Padrones before 1930

And from the LDS website here is a list of several Padrones before 1930:

Unfortunately these films are not online to my knowledge and you'll have to
order them to be viewed at your local family history center

With regards to land ownership records I only know of the records for the
Guadalajara dioceses but not specifically for Tlaltenango.
