I would like to share my research and records and hopefully someone in the group can help fill in the holes where I only have on spouse named in a dispensation.
The first link is to my line from Jerez and Tepetongo Zacatecas Mexico. It starts with my Dad Chet (Aniceto) Castanon.

I just updated my files and they contain 20 years of work and over 110 thousand people. I only meant to do my immediate lines but ended up doing the lines of the families they married into.

My file name is Mexico and if you go to the index hopefully you will see something of interesting to you and your line.

Katy thank you.. I am a bit confused though. Is Thomasa de Olague, natural child married to Joseph Carrillo and Leonor de Avila her Mother?
I have Joseph Carrillo as Leonor's second husband!

i don't know if tomasa olague is a 'natural' child or not, but that document i linked too seems to believe juan olague is her father regardless if he's her bio-father or not. i do know that after having 2 'natural' children, tomasa married bartolome de luna (i'm like 99.9% sure he's not the 'father' of either of those two 'natural' kids)

Katy in the dispensation it says they 4th degree igual related, How did you do that since with no Teresa its 3rd degree with 4th degree. Any help appreciated and I have Ayala as the hijo natural of Tomasa Olague and married to Bartolome Luna but nothing to prove it's the same Tomasa de Olague married to Bartolome.

Katy you are a God send. I appreciate you sharing all your work and allowing me to go back and discover new ancestors. How proud the ancestors must be at how hard and diligently we work to keep their memories and stories alive. They make me proud

your welcome. in fact i've been focusing on capellenias and ordenes lately since they have been neglected for a while and sometimes they have useful genealoogical info.

also if you wanna volunteer for my index blog, you could either do an index from scratch of a collection from the diosceis de guadalajara not on my blog or claudia's and send it to me by my email detective1920@yahoo.com or by asking me for one of my incomplete indexes and finishing it up.

it's ok, i just felt like mentining that.

on another note, my spanish isn't that good either. i find getting the names, locations etc. in these records much easier than actually trying to converse with others in spanish.
