We are approaching 100 in membership.



If everyone one of us Taught one small lesson we'd be overflowing with
different ideas how to proceed with our genealogy. Yes I know that its
possible for some to say that they "know it all" but I think most will
not fit themselves into that catagory. So get down to the basics and
send in some kind of lesson dealing with genealogy.



I'll go first:



1) go to a store that sells phone cards and get an international
$5.00 one good for Mexico



2) get a Mexican phone book for your particular area of research.



3) call every person in the book with your last name



4) find a new relative



later if you like I'll give ideas what to say, but each person should
develope that with which they are comfortable

That is what genealogy is all about, I think, helping others,
the old "give and thou shalt receive". Many people have helped me also
down through the years, and it has kept me going.  I don't understand
those that horde their information like misers.  We will get more done

For many years, I have not
been able to break the "code", and find a link to my maternal
grandfather. Just recently, I posted the little information that I had,
and received a lead from Emilie. Today, I received the film, and found
a sister to my grandfather. (I did not know of her)
