Sure Joseph, we all have DNA that is from our sex chromosomes.
Part of this DNA is used to determine our ancestry and find out who we
are related to now. Since DNA is the code of life it is handed down
from generation to generation. Some times there are differences from
one generation to the next (very rare in some cases frequent in other
cases). These differences are called mutations. By analyzing the
mutations over centuries your ancient origins can be determined. Please

We are currently trying to determine the current migration pattern
of our ancestors as well as where they came from. We can also see who
we are related to now.

Joseph, Since we are on the subject of DNA. How do these folks
analyzing the DNA claim to have DNA from our ancestors of 200 years or
so in the past? I have told my brother that it is a painless procedure
to participate in the study however, he has thrown a bit of caution to
