Can anyone provide information on something known as "La Cristada"? I 
was viewing some photos historical photos at www.valparaiso.tk having 
to do with "La Cristada en Valparaiso, Zacatecas y Huejuquilla, 
Jalisco" - pretty gruesome photos (hangings and beheadings), but do  
not know the background of this event, when it took place, etc. Can 
anyone provide information? I tried google, but didn't find much that 
was helpful (judging by synopsi (sp?)- however,I did not open any of 
the listings). Many of you are well informed, so I trust someone can 
help learn something new.  Thanks.
