Subject: [ranchos] Self introduction to
Ranchos group

My name is Lorenzo Cuesta.

I was born and
raised in Southern Texas (Laredo), but for the past 30
years I have lived
in Sacramento, California.  I have done most of my
research through
the Family History Center films and their website
databases.

Though the Cuesta side of my family came from Real del Catorce, SLP

and Monterrrey N.L., most of my ancestors come from the Zacatecas and

Jalisco area.

I am researching the following surnames from
Nochistlan, Zacatecas:
Ortiz, Cajero, Donlucas, Borroel, and Luis.
To a lesser degree, I
also have ancestors from Nochistlan with the
following surnames:
Valencia, Santillan, Sanchez, Quirarte, Sandoval,
Pedroza, and
Martinez.

Some of these ancestores come from
the surrounding areas:
Tepechitlan, Zac; Duranes, Zac; Ayo El Chico, Jal;
and Yahualica, Jal.

Most of the family group information that I have
compiled, can be
accessed from my rootsweb pages:

I
look forward to learning from the research of so many that are
focused on
the same area that I am interested in.

Atentamente,
Lorenzo
Cuesta
Sacramento, Ca
