However, I have found that Gabay or Gabai is a Jewish surname. Further I learned that Gabay is a person that performs duties similar to an usher. Here is a description:

I found a possible match (Maria "Virginia" Fernandez, born 04 Jul 1885 to Pantaleon Fernandez and Marianna/Maceana Macias) in the IGI index with the christening listed as San Francisco de Asís, Tizap

I've found a few errors in the names of some IGIs.
