I looked and looked for something about the history of Villa de San Diego de Leon, in Guanajuato, where Juan Villalpando was born, and I finally found an article about it.

Thanks. I found a few also. While I was going through some of the early baptismal records I found a female that was baptised in 1650 and its noted that her parents were natives of the Haceinda de Villalpando.
