Focused on the contributions of the Basques in the New World, this may prove useful to those exploring their Basque roots in Zacatecas and beyond.
Basques in the Americas from 1492 to 1892: A Chronology by Stephen t. Bass
Thank you for posting this. It is very informative. Since the author is
including people from Navarra/Nafarroa then Martín Navarro de Gabay,
husband of Petronila Moctezuma, and Lope Ruíz de Esparza y Eguinoa could
have been included.

Armando,
I don't see the link to the book, if you could kindly send me the link I would be very appreciative. Speaking on the subject about Basque and Martín de Gabay, "el Navarro" as he was nicknamed. Their may be a jewish connection with the British Isles as to the lineage of the Gabay family, but this needs to be elaborated further and necessary documents need to be found.
