I have a very slow dial-up since I can't afford DSL or cable, but I was
able to download it and I printed it out (29 pages).  I noticed that when I
clicked to open the file, it seemed to do nothing for a long time, then I
noticed the movement of the indicator that tells you that a page is
downloading.  Then I noticed the size of the file.  I now know that
any file that has thousands of KiloBytes is going to take anywhere from 15
minutes to over an hour to open up.  It took over an hour to open up that
file.  I just left the computer running and went and took a shower then had
breakfast, etc. then I finally saw the first page of the file on the
screen.  With my slow dial-up connection, I have learned that I must just
be patient and wait for the computer to open up such huge files, and that there
is nothing wrong with the computer or the connection, except that it is SOOOO
SLOOOOW.

the problem might be if you are using a dial up connection.
Even with cable RoadRunner it took many seconds which is a long time for RR,
but I'd imagine with cable it would be a few minutes of just sitting there
letting your computer work to download it. You might want to try downloading
it right before you walk away from your computer to do something else. .come
back in an hour and see if its there. Also I was originally using Netscape and
needed to switch to Explorer to view the file.

to my website I might try breaking it into 4-1megbyte sections if I
can.

I am having problems accessing Ranchos' files - would you mind sending
it to me at this email?  I am so curious - even the author might have
been related, as I have some of those surnames you mentioned - it is
exciting to know that I may be related to some of the oldest families in
Tlaltenango.
