The information on Walt Disney I got from a magazine that I once subscribed to called "Hispanic". But I never did check out their source. Also, the baseball player's name was Ted Williams. Alberto, I have heard of the Hispanic or Latino heritage of Rita Hayworth (Rita Cansino), Anthony Quinn (my father-in-law knew him in El Paso-Juarez in the 1920's as well as Gilbert Roland), but Walt Disney? I heard from someone in my Reveles line whose father worked at MGM in the 1920s-1940s and knew all these people, that Walt Disney was a Spaniard of Sephardic Jewish heritage, but that guy turned out not to be reliable. He claims to be a Sephardic Jew. I found out later that the Reveles' in Los Angeles are all buried in the Catholic cemetery, including this guy's father. Where did you hear about Walt Disney? I have never heard of a reliable source for that information. Emilie Garcia Port Orchard, WA --

Regarding Tomas Alva Edison... A couple of years ago, I had a number of people from Zacatecas tell me that Tomas Edison was originally from Zacatecas. Hard to believe it, but possible. And why not, Walt Disney was of latino parents. So was Rita Hayward, Anthony Quinn, George Bush Jr., Governor Richardson from New Mexico, the last major league baseball player to hit over .400 (William's I believe), Linda Ronstadt, and many others that I cannot remember. And I sure there will many more within our life time. Hey, don't forget we come from great stock.
