Hi Irma:

 

Possibly the reason you didn't find  a
connection to a  my "Cornejo"  might be becuase my grandmother wasn't
from Jalos, she was from San Juan de Los Lagos.

I just found that out last friday, talking to my
cousin who lives in Yucaipa.

color=#0000ff size=2>Of the Jalos surnames you mentioned, the only surname I
don't have is Cornejo, but I know two Jalos families with that surname who
live in a nearby town in Northern Calif.  Two brothers of which one 
married a Gonzales and the other married a Gutierrez of
course.    I am distantly related to the wives.
