Hi, Emilie!  Welcome!  Did you ever find
anything on the Olagues?  I told you I'm descended from Miguel Olague in
the 1600s.Marge V.:)

Subject: [ranchos] Yanez/Nanez/Yanes of
Nochistlan/Mexticacan

Hello, I am new to the group.

Most of my
maternal lines hail from the 400 year old gene pool of el
Reino de Nuevo
Mexico (up and down the Rio Grande from Taos to
Juarez), but I recently
traced one line back to Nochistlan and
Mexticacan in Jalisco.

My g-g-g-g grand-parents were Jose Andres Felix Yanez and Paula

Josefa Lopez of la Hacienda de los Delgadillos en el Pueblo de

Nochistlan.  Their son Jose Pablo Nanes (born at that Hacienda in

Nochistlan around 1788) married Ma. del Carmen Ramona Membrila in

Juarez on April 27, 1822.  Andres and Paula had other children born

in Mexticacan.

Hoping to make a
connection,

    Emilie

Port Orchard, WA.
