Volumes 5, 6, and 7 of "Catálogo de pasajeros a Indias durante los siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII" can be downloaded from Family Search. They are searchable pdf files.
Lope Ruis de Esparza is named in volume 7, in the year 1593. The entry is as follows:
2.633. LOPE RUIZ DE ESPARZA, natural de Pamplona,
soltero, hijo de Lope Ruiz de Esparza y de Ana Díaz de Eguino, a
Nueva España como criado de don Enrique de Maleón.—8 febrero.
Arturo Ramos posted an image (in 2007) of the actual document at http://www.nuestrosranchos.org/node/16295.
Volume 3 has also been digitized, but it cannot be downloaded. Volumes 1, 2 and 3 have also been microfilmed.

I was under the impression that all the files in the Catálogo de Indias were already indexed and available on the PARES website (pares.mcu.es), please correct me if I'm wrong.
