I have been searching for Manuela Padilla's baptismal document for many years with no luck. I have found Her parents' Marriage record and her mother's death record. Her mother died around the time I suspect she was born. The death record states her death was sudden and violent so I suspect she died in childbirth. Her mother was Francisca Gallo and this is the link to her death record. Maria Francisca Gallo

Jose Antonio Padilla’s mother is Maria Gallo according to the Jose Antonio’s marriage record. Do you know how much his Maria Gallo is related to Maria Francisca Gallo’s father?

I also have Gallo in my ancestral lines.

Patricia is right that it is a mistake in the record when it states that Maria Gallo is the mother. All other records prove that the mother’s name is Bartola Gonzalez.

Jose Antonio Padilla married a second time to Simona Padilla. His marriage record names his first wife as Maria Francisca Gallo, and also names his parents as Jose Fernándo Padilla and Bartola Gonzalez

I am related through Maria Francisca Gallo’s parents Rafael Perez Gallo and Maximiana Reynoso A. Tostado.

I too am related to Maria Francisca Gallo - Parents Rafael Gallo and Maxima Reynoso. Francisca died 19 Jun 1861 from childbirth. I found her death record, but have not found the baptism of Manuela, who I suspect was the child born when Francisca died. I don't know where else to look. Canadas doesn't have church or civil records for 1861. I looked page by page at the digital records in the Jalos, San Juan de los Lagos, and San Miguel el Alto with no luck. I don't know where else to look. =(
