Backups:
Drupal end of June 2025 backups of files and databases were successful. All data transferred and remained intact on the backup server.
Production Version Updates:
The following website software versions were updated: Drupal updated from version 11.1.8 to 11.2.2. Drupal had a few issues rolling out version 11.2, and had a couple of minor updates that they rolled out nearly back to back. No issues with our system as a result of the updates. The Linux kernel was updated to version 6.8.0-62 (short reboot required). PHP was updated from version 8.3.22 to 8.3.24. MariaDB remains at version 11.4.7. The Ubuntu operating system remains at version 24.04.2.
Testing - Drupal 11:
The test site is operating without any major issues at tstsite1.top. The next major release for Drupal, is version 11.3. The production version is not due to be released until early December 2025. The first alpha release will be in the 1st week of October, following the beta in early November 2025, and the Release Candidate (RC) in late November 2025. Drupal 7 came to an end a few months back, and many module developers are moving there code to Drupal 11. I expect more modules to be developed over the coming year, and likely some new modules will come out before Drupal 11.3 is out. Modules will be tested on the test system, and I will report back if any appear to be worthwhile.
Albums Update:
The final Members and Group Meeting Photos section remains at about 40 percent complete.
