Joseph: I congratulate you and admire your effort with the lenguage. You are doing a great job! I wish more people would follow your example. O.K. Joseph here it comes: I noticed that lot of people don't know that there is a way to type the letter "ñ on their computers, they always use the letter "n" . It makes a whole lot of difference when they use "n" instead of "ñ" with horrendous results . In the case where they want to say years = años, they say: anos, which you probably already know that it means anus. To type the letter "ñ" you press the "Alt" key and while you hold it pressed you type the number 164 on the keypad. The "ñ" will appear on the screen as soon as you release the "Alt" key. If you need it in upper case the number to use is 165. You might want to pass this bit of information to the rest of the members, Iam almost sure that there are a lot of them that don't know it.. [Erlinda, how are you making up your nice Genealogy reports and putting them into Word? Francisco has his work almost complete but wants to do the same thing that you recently did. since I don't use Ancestry I haven't a clue how to advise him.] [Can anyone tell me if PAF makes Charts or Trees I'm really clueless about PAF?]. dime si no entiendes mi Español. . Joseph, remove everything within parenthesis, because: " en el otro lado de EUA" can be Canada or Mexico. Francisco Martin wrote:

Hi, Joseph, Re PAF and Family Tree Online at Ancestry.com: PAF is a great program if your computer has the room for it. It makes great charts, trees, etc. The Family History Centers can download it to your computer or a disc or sell you the program and teach you how to use it. I don't have room for it on my computer, but I will get that when I get a new computer. Right now I use the Online Family Tree program on Ancestry.com. I think I understood Francisco Martin about his not seeing his trees in the format you've been getting from those who have Family Tree on their computers. When I want to forward a tree to someone, I go to WorldConnect and find my tree, then I click on "Ahnentafal" (German word for Pedigree) and it brings up my tree in the Generation 1, Generation 2, etc format that people have been sending to you. I still have to e-mail you my "Ahnetafal" pedigrees. I was going to wait until I updated them, but I don't seem to get around to it. So I might as well send you the trees as they are (names, but no dates). Mine are not as neat as the ones you get from people's computers, since I am technically challenged and don't really know how to use the program. I seem to get many repetitions, etc. I will e-mail them to you at your makas address. Please clean them up for me if you can (eliminate the repetitions, etc). Emilie Garcia Port Orchard, WA.
