Happy New Year!!

The new year seems like a perfect time to introduce a few changes.

With that in mind, let me point out them out.

CUENTOS. Cuentos will include little personal memories reflective of
both the times and Hispanic/Latino culture.  Perfect place to send that
funny family story.

MILITARY HEROES and RESEARCH.  Military heroes will include post
colonial articles.  Even if they appear in different parts of Somos
Primos, they will be identified to facilitate scanning articles.

New Columnists: Granville Hough (Sons of .) will be joined by
Alex Loya, (East of the Mississippi) and Galal Kernahan, whose articles
under California will focus on California constitutional history.

We hope these changes will assist you in quickly accessing and reading
the topics of most interest to you.

Thank you for your letters of encouragement and sending articles of
such wonderful diversity, both reflective of our past, and current
shared histories.

Exposure and visibility of our combined family histories will reveal
who we as Hispanic/Latinos really are. Share whenever you can to
whoever will listen.   Slowly our history is being unraveled.

Feel free to suggest where you think that your information belongs in
Somos Primos. Sometimes, it does not click with me . . .  hum m m.

Best wishes for a wonderful 2006 year for you and your loved ones.

Sincerely,  Mimi
