Through my husband, I have a 60 year-old aunt, who has been trying to get a
visa just to visit her daughter.  The daughter had to prove her financial
status as part of the visa process - and still she was denied entrance -
twice!  I guess they think that she will be coming over to work or collect
freebees of some sort....
