Oh this genealogy stuff sure can be exciting and yet so frustrating. I'd
love to make a tie into some of you all. But yet again it isn't
happening. I am intrigued by one of the Castañedas in AJ's genealogy.

Maria de la Consepssion Castañeda Ponse. 24Dec1716

This Consepssion is to old to be the Concepcion that I'm looking for but
here is a record that I'm wondering if you all might have had a look at
in your studies. I'm bound and determined to order that film and have a
look in a few months but I have previous comittments that prevents this
for now. Anyway here is the record and if anyone knows anything about it
let me know:

record. The source records are usually arranged chronologically by the
birth or christening date.

(I should also explain that I'm not 100% sure that this is a relative,
but I do have a Juan Jose Diaz that married a Maria de la Concepsion
Castañeda. On some of the records it refers to him as just Jose Diaz and
one refers to him as Francisco Diaz possibly unless its another person
married to another Concepsion Castañeda having another child names
Vicente Ferrer Diaz (I'm pretty sure there was a Josse Vicente and a
Vicente Ferrer). . .I don't know it is confusing and best left alone for
a bit until more informacion is found that would allow for more accurate
processing).
