I have a set of greats Bicente Ferrer (Ferrel) Diaz and Maria del Carmen (Carmel) Rodriguez. I see the spelling of both names going back and forth from Ferrer to Ferrel and from Carmen to Carmel.

Has anyone had experience researching in Rio Grande before the 1850s? Familysearch only has records from that year forward, any idea where the older ones might be?
Para Rio Grande, Zacatecas, solo hay imagenes, en familysearch.org, de mediados de los 1800 en adelante.
