TEST SITE - DO NOT USE - Development only

No, the information is all contained on the website.

When I ordered the cds, I was hoping I would be able to search the data 
differently then the website allows.  But I was not able to.  The 
Search rules are a little more flexable but not by much.  I then 
attempted to upload all the data from the cds into a PAF program and 
merge families, etc...  I worked on it for months before deciding that 
it was impossible!  Oh well...

Yes, I have it.  The VRI is different from the IGI.

You can search the VRI at:

You can search the IGI at:

PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

I think there is a small overlap betweent the two but it is very 
small.  And when you compare the IGI data vs the VRI data, the VRI 
usaually has more.

As far as Totatiche (since this is my area of study and I am familar 
with this area), these films are included in VRI:

Are you related to Gutierrez and Gonzalez families
from Pugueros which is located next to Tepatitlan? 
The reason I'm asking is that my wife is from Pegueros
and is related to Gutierrez and Gonzalez families from
that town.  

Something I noticed when I visited that part of
Mexico: The women are very beautiful! Maybe it is the
water?

Possibly the reason you didn't find a connection to a my "Cornejo" might
be becuase my grandmother wasn't from Jalos, she was from San Juan de Los
Lagos.
I just found that out last friday, talking to my cousin who lives in

Another member wrote me privately and said that the answer is that those
that want more controll to modify their own folders should ask me to
remove their work off of the Ranchos site and then they could upload it
to one of the many many free sites and then just link to it in the links
area of the group. This would relieve the files area of the pressure its
under and I could open it again.

ps: You're right John. We can come up with a free solution. . .but if
to many really really want more control then that freedom will cost you

ps: Actually I just thought of a better idea and that would be for about 10 people to volunteer to have their work moved (by me) to the YahooBriefcase. That would open enough space in the main files area for them to be opened again. But that would mean those 10 people would be in the situation where I'd need to do their updating because the briefcase is definitely not updateable by anyone other than me.
