Maria Francisca Marquez

The couple, Remijio Marquez and Simona Raigosa sound familar. But I
can't seem to find them in my notes. Let me keep looking and I will
get back to you. I think I might have them somewhere. I have many
Marques/Marquez and Raigosa/Raygosa in my family.

Also, just to clarify...cause I was a little unsure of your post.
Are Jacinto Aguirre and Maria Marquez the parents of Baudelio Aguirre?

PAF 5 - reports in .rtf

In the print reports section, there is a check box labled 'Print to
File'. Select this option and it will create a .rtf file.

Confirming Your Participation: Files, Links

Not sure if I sent in mine or not. I really have very little right now. But I would like it under Sandoval

My grandfather was Martin Sandoval born in El Teul Zacatecas

My grandmother was Guadelupe Maria Arellano Sandoval, born in either El Teul or Florencia Zacatecas

My father was one of 16 kids,

his name was:

Augaptio Arellano Sandoval

born February 27th 1928 in Florencia I believe but may have been El Teul.

For now thats about all I have.

[Note to the group: The quick and simple of finding out if you are
included in those that have sent in your genealogies is to look in the
files or links area of the group for your name or for those few without
names, the names of your ancestors {i'm going to correct this soon}.
Here is my current list of those represented so far:

thanks Peggy. Since you are using PAF 5 send me a gedcom. [Question to
the Group: does anyone know how to make a genealogy report .rtf or .doc
text from PAF? All I see is making a .gedcom].

Anyway send me the .gedcom and I'll import it into my Family Tree Maker
and create a .rtf file.  Make sure to tell me the name of the person
you want the file to be named after so I can name it correctly and also
make the genealogy report based on that person.

thanks,

ps: Jose Macias yes your genealogy is in the Links section under

Okay folks I am soooo sorry to say that as of today there are 70 members
of the group. In the files and links area I have genealogy submissions
for 35 people.

That leaves 35 people unaccounted for.

I have been in communications with Maria Cortez and she is looking into
Copyright Protection for our genealogies. Now if the 35 of you that
haven't sent in your work are hesitating because of that . . .well
you'll have to communicate that to me. Then again if you have other
reasons you'll have to communicate that to me. I guess what I'm saying
is you need to communicate your reasons.

Otherwise on March 1, 2004 the 35 of you will be getting an email from
me. And if you don't reply to that email within 2 weeks (March 15, 2004)
I'm going to delete your membership to the group due to lack of
participation.

the big bad moderator,
Joseph Puentes

PS: A note to the new people that have joined in the last month or so.
Don't worry Just reply to that email with "I just joined on such and
such a date and I need a couple more months." My reply will be "great,
sure, suave, todo esta bien."

PPS: For those of you that don't have genealogy software it is perfectly
acceptable to send in your genealogy in an email. Have a look around the
"files" area for some excellent email genealogy submissions [look at
Maria Gutierrez' work].

Joseph,

What I sent you was some information on el Rancho
El Ocote.  I'm not sure if this will be helpfull to you.  I know that
Lagos de Moreno is in the eastern part of Jalisco.

Teul Zacatecas

Hi Dora,

Teul is in the state of Zacatecas, but close to Jalisco. I think the
full name of the town is Teul de Gonzalez Ortega. It's south of
Tlaltenango de Sanchez Roman. I looked at a map on Expedia. I have
never been there myself.

The Castros I am searching for are not directly related to me, but
they are direct ancestors to a cousin. Did any of the names ring a
bell?

Teul Zacatecas

Maria,

Where exactly is Teul?  Is that near Zacatecas, or near Jalisco?  I have some Castros in my family but I am not sure if they are your Castros.  My Castros came from El Castro, Sain Alto, that is closer to Sombrerete than Zacatecas.

Let me know and we can compare notes.

Garcia Carraffa encyclopedia

I need to apologize to the group. I made an offer awhile back for you
all to send me your names you wanted from the
color="#0000ff" size="2">Garcia
Carraffa encyclopedia. Well I contacted the University of Tennesse and
they said that the 500 pages needed to be consecutive in one volume and
that they would have to handle my multiple request for surnames in
their 88 volume set of books as multiple charges of $15. . .so I'm not
going to do this but wait until the next time I can cruise over to the
Library of Congress and fotocopy my own.

sorry,

Joseph
