Fascinating information.  Now it makes sesne that Jose Luisn

I have found the same with the films from Etzatlan.  The baptism 
records for my family line have the children in one family labelled 
as Indios, Mestizos and coyotes!  The priest made the 
determination.  I suppose if the child was really dark than it was 
labelled as being Indio.   In Etazatlan the people were seldom 
labelled as Espanol in the bapt., death and marriage records.

I would expect the Zacatecas films to be similar.   These were 
mining places and had many Indians and mestizos.  But it was the 
priests who described the subjects in the documents.

<specifically from Zacatecas, Zacatecas? The two films I ordered 
<were predominantly Indios, Mestizos and Mulatos. I think I saw 
<one or two mixed marriages of an Espanola and Mestizo but I < < 
don't recall seeing any totally Espanoles being married. So my < 
question is that I'm wondering if these Informacion

How do you order these films? And I was wondering if you could tell me if
you see anything on them films about my grandparents marriage. He was Martin
Sandoval and she was Guadalupe Maria Arellano. Guadalupe's mother my
greatgrandmothers name was Corredeo, don;t know if that is a first name or
last name?

They were probably married sometime in the end of the 1800s or very
beginning of 1900's but I am not sure I only know my Dad was born in 1928
and I believe second to the youngest of 16 kids but then I have recently
heard it was only 10 kids and now not sure. Anyways would apreciate if
anyone could tell me if their marriage is in them films. Also to whom do I
order these films from and how much are they?

I wanted to know if anyone has the surname Armijo in
there genealogy preferably in Zacatecas.  I am looking
for a marriage date for Joseph de Armijo and Catalina
Duran some time in the 1670's more or less or a
baptism for Joseph de Armijo in the 1650's.  These
records would be in Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico.

FYI:

I found an author that has written many books on this area of Jalisco.
On the map it looks like a suburb of Guadalajara. If any of your
ancestors come from this area you should do a WorldCat search for the
books of Bernardo Carlos Casas.

He also has several books on Tlaltenango, Zacatecas.
