I'm very happy to have been accepted into this group. My name is 
Alexandra Ramos Soto and have been researching my genealogy for less 
than a year. I was born in Mexico and currently live in the Los 
Angeles area. My parents were born in Hacienda de Buenavista, between 
Jerez and Tepetongo, Zacatecas. The names I'm looking into are Ramos, 
Saucedo, Macias, Rosales, Garcia, Reyes, Loera, Romo, Ruiz, Landeros, 
Escobar, Jimenez, Castorena and Valenzuela; all from Calvillo, 
Aguascalientes area. The Quezada, Viramontes, Gomez, Duran from 
Apozol, Jalpa and Nochistlan areas. The Soto, Alvarado from 
Villanueva area and Salazar and De Reza from Tepetongo, Zacatecas.

I will be on vacation for the next two weeks and tomorrow I'm flying 
to Puebla, Mexico and while there I plan to visit the Family Center 
to look at their films and hopefully finding more facts about my 
ancestors.

Upon my return I will let you know what happened. Wish me good luck!
