I do have a Maria Alvina Raygoza as my 4th great grandmother.  My records indicate that she was the daughter of Josseph Raygoza and Rozalia Castaneda. But now I just have two of her siblings: Maria Antonia and José Pablo.

After reviewing each record in the information you sent me I'll let you know my conclusions.

A little bit of history....
These two states are not only next to each other,
Aguascalientes was once part of Zacatecas! 
Approximately in 1845, the President, or dictator, of
Mexico, Santa Ana, punished Zacatecas for being to
independent by taking Aguascalientes away from them.  

There was a liberal movement in Zacatecas against
Santa Ana led by Francisco Garcia Salinas, an ancestor
from Jerez, that antagonized Santa Ana. So he punished
them by taking away Aguascalientes from them and
making it a state. 

Poor Mexico, this was just one of the many disasters
that would happen to Mexico and its people for the
next 160 years.

Thank you so much.  Short note, I accidently found all these ancestors in Salt Lake City.  When I put in the state I put Aguas instead of Zac...which is what I was always told that the Alvares came from....well...as we know Zac and Aguas are close....on the map...this is how I found so many generations.....very good.

Thanks for the welcoming message; I really appreciate it.  

I'm glad to know that you also have families from Totatiche and the surrounding towns.  It is very likely that we may have an ancestor in common, even if it isn't in the immediate generations that preceded us.  To start with, in my genealogical findings in the IGI from the parish records I already have some of the surnames that you list: for example, Sandoval and Del Real, but I'm sure there may still others that I don't know.

I'm currently in the process of transcribing a list of ancestors from my maternal great grandparents, which are the ones from our area of interest.  I just came back from out of town as I was busy attending some work, that's why I haven't done it.  I'll let you know soon when I upload my files.

In reference to the information and question below regarding the Felguerez and Colotlan, I 
make a few comments. One, you can obtain an idea of the land owned by the Felguerez 
family by reviewing the article that I put in the photo section and labeled Valparaiso. 
Paragraph three of Cerro de Gallegos.jpg gives you an estimate of the size of the land 
ownership. In the 1800's ownership of land generally meant ownership of very large tracts 
of land. Secondly, the names of some of the ranchos owned by Felguerez family in 
Valparaiso (I think) were: El Astillero, El Tejujan, Las Cruzes. They also owned a silver 
mine, Santa Elena. In Colotlan, they owned La Trinidad and the silver mine called Bolanos. 
Thirdly, these properties were all lost in the Mexican Revolution to my knowledge. 
Fourthly, one of the Felguerez returned to Valparaiso in the 1920's, only to be murdered. 
Lastly, one of the great artists/painter/sculptors of Mexico today is from Valparaiso and 
part of the original Felguerez family: Manuel Felguerez.
